Trends in Testing 2025 - AI, the new spice in the test automation kitchen

In 2025, our Trends in Testing event series once again made a successful stop in six cities - with around 550 participants and many exciting discussions about modern test processes, collaboration between specialist departments and development teams and the targeted use of artificial intelligence in test automation.


Under the motto “The (R)Evolution of Cooking - AI, the new spice in the test automation kitchen”, we showed how familiar principles of test automation can be further developed - through new tools, clearly defined processes and intelligent support in everyday life. The mixture of specialist presentations, discussions and a practical showcase was again very well received this year.

Showcase: TestBench in Action
The live demo focused on TestBench - this time with a focus on specific AI use cases and seamless integration into existing development environments. Among other things, it was shown how specification and automation can be directly combined with the Visual Studio Code Extension - without media discontinuity. New prototype AI functions for better comprehensibility of error messages, review support and automatic keyword documentation also generated a great deal of interest.

The participants were given a clear insight into how modern tools and technologies make day-to-day test work easier - and how functional test design and technical implementation can be more closely interlinked.
