imbus (represented by imbus Rhein-Main) receives a "Silver Sustainability Rating" from the assessment company EcoVadis. Since its foundation in 2007, EcoVadis has become the world's largest and most reliable provider of sustainability ratings for companies, creating a global network of more than 90,000+ rated companies.
The rating company assessed a total of four overarching topic blocks: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. The areas subordinate to the blocks are diverse. EcoVadis assessed and rated formalized environmental policies, measures to reduce energy consumption, greenhouse emissions, purchase of renewable energy, energy saving measures, electricity consumption, but also measures for information security, equal pay audits and regular assessment of work performance.
The EcoVadis assessment is based on a questionnaire completed by imbus including various forms of evidence in the form of invoices, donation receipts, anonymized documents from employee interviews, training opportunities, as well as our hiring process and contribution to CO² savings and our quota of women, and much more.
The information submitted was then analyzed by EcoVadis experts and the answers were processed into a scorecard. imbus was among the top 25% of companies evaluated by EcoVadis and was thus awarded the Silver Medal!
Despite the good result, we look forward to continuing to develop and implement measures to steadily further reduce our ecological footprint!
